Mimi Cassidy
Founder/producer/actor. Mimi decided to focus on creating original theatre performances for children and families in Devon, having moved to Exeter with husband Mark in 2016. Prior to this, Mimi studied Theatre & Performance at UCLan and engaged in professional acting work, following 12 years working as Learning Mentor, Behaviour Support Worker and Education Welfare Officer in London, Essex and Lancashire. Working in primary schools, Mimi helped children overcome barriers to learning, provided drama clubs, parenting classes and supported children with neuro-diversity and additional needs. Mimi is a qualified teacher, an Equity member and has annually updated Enhanced DBS.

Mark Cassidy
Theatre maker, writer, actor. Mark trained in acting at ALRA, and as a teacher with Manchester University. His background combines work in educational theatre with teaching experience in mainstream schools, special needs, Steiner education, actor training, and theatre arts.
Together with Mimi, Mark co-founded Boo to a Goose Theatre with the aim of empowering young audiences to question, to wonder, and to dare to imagine.
Mark holds annually up-dated Enhanced DBS, and Equity membership.

Magda Cassidy
Freelance songwriter/dramaturg. Magda studied drama, music and theatre at Exeter University and Central School of Music and Drama. Since then she has toured her own feminist theatre, sang in jazz bands and taught children English through music and drama in Europe. During Lockdown she focussed on songwriting and was featured on Radio One. Alongside an exciting career, Magda writes, sings and records the catchy songs for our shows and videos. She was dramaturg for our Shipwreck Sam show.

Gabe Cassidy
Freelance composer, music production. Gabe trained in live sound engineering and music production at Plymouth and Marjon Universities, he is also a talented multi-instrumentalist. He has worked across Devon and London in theatres and for small to large scale concerts and festivals. Now living in Exeter, Gabe has created wonderful soundscapes and music for our shows and videos.

Taylor Rettke
Musical Director. At age 13 Taylor received the Trinity Silver Medal for the top exam result in Australia for grade 8 classical piano. He studied at Melbourne University and Central School of Speech & Drama. He now lives in London working as an actor, producer and musical director.

Amrutha Nair
Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Amrutha studied Animation at Falmouth University. She has been involved in high profile campaigns in India and the U.K. using animated stories to communicate important messages to children and young people. Amrutha created the designs and posters for Storm In A Teapot.

Isobel Jeffery
Focus Group member. ‘Izzy’ is a Devon-based Learning Disabled actress. She performs and co-hosts a regular open mic night for LD and neurodiverse artists. Izzy helps make our work accessible for audience members with additional needs.
